Rock Electronic Guitar - Musical Toys for Kids 3Y+

I love that this combines the aesthetic charm of a wooden toy with fun electronic features. It looks fantastic sitting in our playroom—not an eyesore at all! My daughter loves switching between the different sound modes and jamming along. It’s lightweight enough for a toddler to carry around easily, yet sturdy enough to withstand a few accidental drops. Great battery life so far, too. Absolutely worth every penny.

My kid absolutely loves this toy electric guitar! The built-in background music is fantastic. When strumming the strings along with pressing the musical buttons, it really feels like putting on an actual live concert. The strap is also much wider and thicker than others we've tried, making it way more comfortable for little shoulders to wear. It is interactive, fun, and great quality. Highly recommend it for any music-loving toddlers!

I got this electric guitar toy for my toddler, and it has been an absolute hit! The muted wood-tone aesthetic and modern design look so much nicer in our living room compared to most flashy plastic toys. The buttons are easy for little hands to press, the real strings add a realistic touch, and the sound effects keep my child entertained for hours. It feels sturdy, well-made. Highly recommend for any young music lover!

We've had this for a few weeks now and it's become a firm favourite. The paint hasn't chipped at all despite weeks of daily play. Can't recommend it enough.

This has really sparked my 4-year-old's interest in music. We get a lot of use out of the strum bar.

The one thing I'd improve is the strum bar. It's a nice toy but comes with a couple of caveats. Fine, with a couple of small things to note.

My 3 year old child really enjoys this guitar! It looks very cute and feels more realistic than a lot of other musical toys because it has actual strings, buttons, and different sound effects. It’s easy for young kids to play with, and it keeps them entertained while also encouraging an interest in music.

Solid toy that has held up well so far. Excellent value for the quality.

nice quality and sound.

I wasn't sure at first but it's been a huge hit. It's proper solid wood, not the flimsy stuff from the big box stores.

My two-year old great-grandson is very familiar with real guitars, and this was a great gift for him. It's a very substantial weight since it's made of wood. The strap, in particular, is far superior to those usually included with a toy guitar. Also important, this one has real strings to pluck and strum. He enjoys it very much.

My toddler loves it ! Need I say more?

Very well made entertaining for 1year old and up

We hear little tunes from this all day. I especially like the strum bar. Very happy with it.

Pleased with it after a few weeks of use. Feels like it will last through more than one child.

Solid toy that has held up well so far. Nothing wrong with the strum bar, just not the standout.

Good quality for the price and happy overall. Arrived quickly and very well packaged.

Really pleased we went for this one. The colours are warm and natural, much nicer than the bright plastic toys. A really lovely buy.

I am very impressed with the overall look and feel of this guitar. The wooden construction makes a big difference in quality—it feels smooth, looks high-end, and has a nice natural finish. The color palette is beautiful and matches the "boho" or modern nursery aesthetic perfectly while still being very appealing to a young kid.

Functionally, it’s been great. The song selection is good, and the sound quality is clear without being too much.

My 3-year-old loves to switch between the buttons and strumming the strings. It’s the perfect size for her age group, and the included strap helps her hold it. It is a high-quality musical toy that is built to last, making it a great option for a child who wants an introduction to music.

Good quality for the price and happy overall. I'd have expected a bit more from the volume dial.

This has been a brilliant buy. Genuinely good open-ended play, no batteries or screens. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

I checked out toys like the FReniland guitar, and honestly they fall into that “fun, interactive music toy?category—not a real instrument, but something that gets kids excited about music right away. The biggest thing is the lights, buttons, and sound effects. Kids press something and instantly hear music or guitar sounds, which keeps them hooked. Most of these come with built-in songs, rhythms, and different sound modes, which is exactly what makes them engaging for younger kids

What’s cool about this style (especially ones with “real strings?+ buttons) is that it mixes pretend play with a little bit of actual interaction. Kids can strum, press buttons, and feel like they’re performing. That kind of play is great for building early coordination and interest in music—some toy guitars are even designed to help with memory and confidence through music play

That said, keeping it real—this is still a toy, not a learning instrument. The strings don’t function like a real guitar, and the sounds are more pre-programmed than controlled. It’s awesome for ages 3?, but once kids get a little older (or more serious about music), they’ll outgrow it pretty quickly. Also?it can get a little loud and repetitive for parents after a while 😅

Bottom line:

* Great for: fun, pretend play, early music exposure
* Not ideal for: actually learning guitar

👉 Overall: 4??fun, engaging, and perfect for little kids?just more entertainment than education long-term.

Such a lovely addition to the playroom. It's a proper heirloom piece rather than disposable plastic. A really lovely buy.

We actually own several toy guitars and ukuleles at this point, but this one is easily the best one we have.

What makes this one different is that it actually has real strings, so you can play it without even turning it on. Turning it on just adds electric sound effects and extra music features. That alone made this feel way better than the typical battery only toy instruments.

There are colorful buttons along the neck that play different chord sounds and there’s even a little rocking bar that adds to the music which is a really fun feature.

My 6 year old especially loves this. She’s been putting on little “concerts?for us which has been really cute to watch. The strap is adjustable so kids can actually wear it comfortably while playing.

I also like that it has a wood base with plastic over parts of it instead of being all plastic. It gives it a nicer look and feel.

I already own several toys from this brand and this is definitely another win for us.

This is a review of the Freniland Toy Guitar. I have a few other toys from this brand, and they are excellent, but I was skeptical that this guitar could be appropriate for a 3 year old. I've been testing it for about a month, and I'm now a HUGE fan. This little guitar is extremely well-made and it is PACKED with features, some that a young preschool child will love and many that an older child will enjoy.

This is a toy that will keep a child's interest. Feature-wise, it automatically turns off when it hasn't been played in 5 minutes. There are so many different things to play with on this, and all of them make different sounds. You can pull the rocker-bar, strum the strings, push the colored buttons on the frets, push the big gray button to play 10 different songs, and twist the knob to make the chords sound like classical guitar, electric guitar, or silly sounds in "fun mode." And, of course, you can do all of these things in combination, like a real guitar player.

One of my favorite features is that the volume button has a low and high setting, and neither are very loud... this is not a toy that is so loud and annoying that you'll want to jerk the batteries out of the back of it 10 minutes after your kid starts playing with it (it uses 3 AA batteries, in case you're wondering). This guitar is light-weight and has a sturdy, adjustable strap. The body of the guitar is made from thick plastic and lightweight wood backed with the same plastic. I can't say enough about the quality of the materials used- this toy is built to be used. I have yanked the guitar strings, twisted the buttons, pulled the strap, and done everything but give this to the dog to chew, and I haven't managed to damage or dent a single thing on this guitar. The only thing I've had to be careful with is the thinnest guitar string. Even the speaker on this guitar is protected.

Overall, at $36.99 at the time I ordered, this is a very good value for the quality. This is a toy that can keep a child's interest. Highly recommended.

We hear little tunes from this all day. The finish is smooth with no rough edges or splinters anywhere. Very happy with it.

I have a couple of toys from Freniland and I have to say the quality is just outstanding. Excellent construction and I love the care they give to the development of their toys. This is a very cute, quality electric toy guitar for kids. It comes with real strings, pre-set beats and sounds as well as a guitar strap (which is great quality). Our toddler has been grabbing our Taylor guitar to strum and although we love his curiosity, it's an expensive guitar to have as a play toy. This electric guitar has smooth edges, non-toxic paint and good sound. It does require 2 AA batteries which are not included but they last a very long time. I have seen other guitars on the market but this one is by far the best one we have found so far. The real guitar strings are easy to strum, perfect introduction into music and made with good quality build design. Great value for the money. Very happy with it. Would highly recommend. Makes a great gift idea.

My 3-year-old likes it, though it is a touch loud. No chemical smell out of the box, which I always worry about with painted toys.

This has really sparked my little boy's interest in music. My little boy is especially taken with the sound buttons. Worth every penny.
